Just to follow up… The events-calendar-pro dir/files were definitely not visible on the server but functionality after upgrade to PRO was definitely there. So I took the easiest route first and think I got really lucky.

I b’up’d the site then ftp’d the PRO plug-in files (unzipped). I am able to modify and did not have to re-install plug-ins. Very strange but it’s working. Only thing I can think of was my directories were sluggish to update in ftp view and the files were there somewhere.

Anyway back on track thanks for the help!
