CTCParticipant
Hi Nico,
Thank you for the response. Yes, the code snipped option sounds ideal. The question is, can I create unique HTML content for EACH category page. So, one code snipped for the ‘architecture’ category page, another for the ‘online’ category page, etc.
Is this possilbe? And if so, where do I place these code snippets?
Thank you,
BenCTCParticipantThe latest update of Tribe Events seems to have fixed this issue. Thank you for your help.
CTCParticipantGood Morning George,
The result of the above test was that nothing happened. I activated the twenty sixteen theme, deactivated all plugins except for The Event Calendar and The Event Calendar Pro, and attempted to make changes in the display tab. I was unable to make these changes, the problem persisted.
Would access to the admin panel help you? I need to resolve this.
Thank you,
BenCTCParticipantHi George, any suggestions on where to go from here??
CTCParticipantHello, yes, you’re right. I did not uninstall my theme, I deactivated it. I did have to actually install the Twenty Sixteen theme to test it. And then I deactivated it and tested again.
Where should we go from here?
I think the last resort solution is to disable PHP code snippet that adds the ‘HTML before event content’ to the page. And then somehow pass the desired code into the php template somewhere else. I’d like to avoid that, as I’d like to be able to quickly change the HTML code above the event content. I also want to change the display setting to remove the ‘container’ from the page, and this is done on the same unresponsive display tab of the events calendar settings.
Thanks,
BenCTCParticipantI tried all of these steps, installing Twenty Sixteen, disabling all plugins, re-installing my current theme, adding plugins one by one. The same problem persists, that I cannot make changes to anything in the display tab of the Events settings. I can make changes to other tabs, but not that one. What should I try now?
Thank you,

April 24, 2016 at 12:59 pm in reply to: Change date and time structure for recurring events #1106443CTCParticipantOK, you can’t help me make this change because it is out of the scope of support you offer?
Either way, the function I need to change is this: tribe_events_event_schedule_details
It is located here: src/functions/template-tags/general.php
Where do I replicate ‘general.php’ in my child theme so I can edit it? Editing the function in ‘general.php’ is preferable to using a filter, as I don’t know how I would create a filter for this change.
Thank you,
BenApril 19, 2016 at 7:30 am in reply to: Posting a multi-day event with specific times each day without using recurring #1104213CTCParticipantRecurring Events would be the main thing I would need in Pro. But this would only be useful for me if I could use Recurring Events to schedule one event that takes place at the same time on consecutive days. For example, Event #1, Monday-Friday, 1-5pm; or on consecutive days with different times, such as Mon-Thurs 1-5, Friday 8-4.
Can Recurring Events do this?
Also, assuming that the above examples can be created as single events, can I then sell tickets through Events Tickets Plus to these events?
Thank you,
Ben -
