ParticipantHi Nico,
Followed the conflicts guide and found a conflict with another plugin, the plugins were:
Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order
Post Types OrderThese treated the events as posts (are they coded as an extension of the post class out of interest?) so were overriding the natural order when the request for the second page was submitted, disabling these has fixed the issue, and they are not used anywhere in the site enough to worry about just removing them, thanks for the help, marking this as resolved.
Thanks,
James

ParticipantHi,
Thankyou for your response that seems like a good way of doing it and I will give it a try!
After talking with my client about this they think it might be better to allow editing of certain fields (which your code should achieve) but also set the event as a draft again after it has been edited so an admin has to approve it. Do you have any idea how this could be achieved? I know there is an option to set whether community events are submitted as drafts or as published, so was thinking I could create an override that checks if the form is the edit form, and if so will submit the event as a draft instead of published.
I appreciate your help as I’m aware I’m not using the plugin quite as intended!
Thanks,
James

ParticipantHi,
Think the formatting in your reply went slightly wonky so I didn’t get everything you were saying!
I’m submitting a ticket to Avada about whether the wrapper can be removed, and I’ll check their forums for any issues similar to this.
Can you clarify what you removed to make it display properly please? The formatting in the last message made it a little hard to understand.
Thanks
James

ParticipantHi Brook!
Thanks for the reply, apologies I took a while to reply, I’m in the UK so timezones are a little different.
Sorry I forgot to add a link, the page I am trying to use the shortcode is http://fernham.bbpdev.com/hall-calendar/
and the page where I am using the sidebar widget (which is fine) is http://fernham.bbpdev.com/hall-bookings/
Cheers
James
