    > What version did you update from?

DB dump says 3.3 (I haven’t been updating the plugin that often because every time I do I get problems. :S)

    > Could I get some more information about your server instance?

We’re running the site on a VPS with 768 MB of RAM.

No problems on the front end. Every page below /wp-admin/ is slow, which leads me to believe that the problem is some resource intensive hook that is run periodically on the admin pages. After I get through the backend works properly for some time.

Additional information: If I load the admin panel multiple times it will load, so there is some script that loads very long.

    Hi,
    yup it does!

Hi, it has to do with WPML, yes, or atleast with the “On the fly” language change. However, it only affects the views and parts (location search) that are related to Events Calendar PRO. The default views and stuff work fine, so it has something to do with the way PRO does the localization.

Also, it seems to me that there is some kind of a “cache” or delay with how the translations are handled as when I changed the language it took an extra refresh for the PRO texts to update.

I solved the problem by changing the slug translations to the English ones.

As long as this problem continues I would suggest you to add a “Translate slugs” as an option for WPML users.

Though, there seems to be an actual bug with the view chooser, as the pro views don’t get translated. I’m seeing in the English and Swedish versions the Finnish translations for “Day”, “Photo” and “Map”. Month and List get translated normally.

BTW, the organizer slug never gets translated.

E.g. would it be possible to turn off the localization of the urls?

Now that I realized the problem had something to do with WPML, I found a bunch of threads on the same 404 error. Is there any workaround or fix for the problem?

Hi, after further investigation the problem seems to come from the fact that I have a multi-language site through WPML, and once I visit the English-side, the Events Calendar PRO plugin does not “return” from the English translation to other languages, so only English slugs work…

To add: The views stop working after some time.

BTW, there is still a problem with the icons on filter bar view chooser, they are the same (“Month”-icon”), this did not get fixed with disabling all and changing the theme.

Hi, for some reason it disappeared with disabling and re-enabling all plugins. Interesting.

    Thanks for you time!

This might be a problem specific to Google Chrome.
