ParticipantThis got me too.
Go to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/license-keys/, then click “Disconnect Now”. It will ask if you want to turn off auto updates for this site. Click yes.
Then, go back and re-enter your license key (actually you can just click on and move away from the field.) It should come up as valid now.August 1, 2013 at 12:43 pm #58341Rob
MemberHey folks (floydtaylor and readdie). Thanks for your post here and my apologies for taking until now to get you a reply. More importantly, sorry on behalf of the whole team for the confusion you’ve faced here. It’s apparent we need to do a better job of clarifying license keys and how to disconnect them from the offset.
The solution presented by readdie is exactly what must be done. We also published a blog post that walks through this, which you might find of value: https://theeventscalendar.com/finding-your-pro-license-key-re-downloading-the-plugin/. Let me know if you’re still stuck from there or if anyone has any further questions.
