ParticipantI am running a staging website and a live site and on my staging site the link mysite.com/event/test-event/ticket goes to a page where the user can edit there ticket information, but on my live site the links redirects to the same page as soon as I click it. If I inspect the link I can see that the link /ticket is appended to the url of the current event, but as soon as I click it the page just refreshes.
Am I missing a setting on my live vs staging website. I tried and updated the permalinks, but this didn’t yield much result. I can’t really disable all the plugins on the fly because it is a busy visited website, that is why I run a staging website, but the issue is not happening there.

MemberHi.
Permalinks shouldn’t affect it and since it’s working on Staging, my best guess is caching at play here.
Maybe your host can assist with this issue?
Please report back on any of your findings, whether on your own or with your host support’s assistance.
Thank you.

ParticipantHi Cliffs,
No this indeed wasn’t the issue, because it still persisted.
Staging vs live are on the same host, so in theory they should run the same.
The databases are the only one that is different between the two, so isn’t there a setting in event ticket plus to enable this?
Can you think on anything else I could try?

ParticipantFound it!
Because I was testing the new ticket feature for this site. I had created a event that wasn’t going to show up on the archive pages, I had enabled [√] Hide From Event Listings with in the Event options. And as soon as this is checked the pages /tickets/ wouldn’t work. Is this a bug or should this be the case?

MemberThanks for finding that. I confirmed it and reported the bug to our developers.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
