ParticipantHello,
The event ticket and sales does not SAVE in the backend when Yoast is active. Not sure what is causing this issue specifically can you please review to see if there’s an easy fix to this issue? I really need to keep Yoast running. Thanks.Previously

MemberHi Mathew.
FYI: I visited https://www.swflsustainability.com/event/innovative-transportation-land-use-planning-workshop-summit/ (your link from that other forum thread) and noticed console errors at your site: https://cl.ly/0A2n1l3R0h04
(If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Regarding the question you have in this thread, though, I activated Yoast SEO 3.4.2 (latest version) and was able to replicate this issue with Event Tickets’ RSVP type tickets (although WooCommerce type tickets did work when ET+ was active).
In my local testing site’s console area, I saw this error when trying to save an RSVP ticket: https://cl.ly/1N1G2V0B1k3a
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
Please note that even if this thread gets closed due to inactivity (automatically happens after a couple weeks), this thread should still get a reply added if/when the fix is released.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi.
Here’s a temporary code snippet to fix the issue until its included in a future maintenance release:

Please let me know how things go for you.

ParticipantHello,
I applied the snippet to the child theme functions file, verified file is loading, reactivated YOAST and tickets no longer get saved with or without woocommerce. So the fix did not work for me or do I need to add it somewhere else?
Thanks

MemberSorry it didn’t work for you. It did work on my local testing site.
I’d suggest switching to Twenty Sixteen theme, disabling all non-Modern Tribe plugins except Yoast, add the code snippet to Twenty Sixteen’s functions.php (just temporarily), and see if things work.

MemberHey Mathew, just wanted to give you a heads up that we are in the process of releasing Event Tickets 4.2.7 and it will include a fix for this issue. Please keep your eyes open for the update either today or tomorrow and let us know if you continue to see issues after the update.
Thanks so much for reporting this and for your patience while we worked on it!
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Just updated the Event Calendar & it looks like it still not working with Yoast 🙁 (version 4.2.7)… Let me know if other fixes come up please. Thanks!

MemberThanks for that. Did you try it while Yoast was the only other active plugin besides our plugins?
I just tried it again now and everything worked fine on my local testing site:
- WP 4.6.1
- Yoast SEO 3.5
- TEC 4.2.7
- ET 4.2.7
I see you also have ET+. If the above doesn’t work for you like it did for me, please try deactivating ET+ and see if that affects things. If it still works with ET+, then activate WooCommerce (without the additional add-ons) and see if that combination is what makes things not work for you.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
