Year View – is it possible? Workarounds?

Hello,

I saw on an old (1 year more or less) post on wordpress.org support page, that you might implement a year view. Is it going to be implemented?

I am fighting to find an – urgent – solution for my client.
Could you point me to the right direction?
I took a look at the files in views/month but can’t work it out.

No plans currently exist for this one, I’m afraid. You are more than welcome to add your support to this feature request, however, and you may also be interested in this example of creating a custom view (which you might use as the basis of your own custom year view solution).
