Upcoming Events Widget not displaying events

The Upcoming Events Widget is blank. The new events are missing their Year: I captures a screenshot of this. Note the bottom event for June 12… the year is missing: http://www.turnkeytec.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Dates-not-showing-on-events.png

The plugins Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro are fully updated… as is the rest of the site. I tried to manually re-pick the dates and re-save the event. They show in the full event Calendar, (http://www.turnkeytec.com/events/) but they don’t in the upcomgni events widget.

I fear this may be a bug with the latest update

I think I’ve isolated the issue to the the Events Calendar Pro plugin. If I disable the Pro plugin, I have to re-add in the Events List widget… but when I do it shows up. When I activate the Events Calendar Pro plugin it stops working.

I got it to work through this sequence of events.

1. WP and Events Calendar, and Events Calendar Pro are updated.
2. Deactivate Events Calendar pro, which removed the Events lists widget from the sidebar
3. Add the Events Lists widget back in. Everything is working
4. Re-activate the Events Calendar Pro plugin, which removed the Events lists widget from the sidebar again
5. Re-add the Events Lists widget back in… and now everything works?!?!?!

I’m very confused at to what happened in the first place… and as to why this fixed it.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but glad you were able to resolve this. We made some changes to the list widget in version 3.6, and so when you re-added the PRO list widget, and re-saved your filters, the new options were saved correctly.

Hopefully that helps to clear up some confusion, but let me know if you have further issues here. Thanks! 🙂
