    X Theme + Event Calendar Pro after 4.41 : No Photo View.

    Had to revert back to 4.41 to get photo view back.

    Now I can’t update.

    Any Solution?

    Hi there :),

    I’ll have to do some testing with this, but I have a couple questions:

    1. Did you just update X-Theme?
    2. Can you please perform this conflict testing and let me know what you find out?
    3. Did you make any more changes to your site recently?

    Shelby,

    This happened on the previous version but I did update to 5.0 on the X theme.

    I basically disabled all the plug-ins and I’m still getting the problem.

    Everything works fine except for the photo view. You can see it for a moment and it disappears.

    I reverted back to 4.41 and it cured the problem.

    When I update anything beyond that the problem reappears.

    So I’m stuck on 4.41 for the moment.

    Hi again,

    It looks like this is a bug. I was able to replicate this with the latest version of our plugin and X Theme. After some inspection, I’ve discovered that X Theme is causing several javascript conflicts with our plugins.

    So, here are the next steps with this:

    1. I’ll be documenting this bug in our system, and you’ll receive an update when it’s fixed. (Which will depend on the amount of the reports we get of this issue)
    2. In the meantime, I’m glad you found a work around by rolling back. This should work for awhile. πŸ™‚
    3. Finally, I’d suggest reaching out to Theme Co’s support to see if they’re able to help resolve this conflict, as we don’t officially support theme conflicts on our forums.

    Hello!

    I’m passing through to mention a conflict between Events Calendar Pro’s Photo View and the X Theme.

    That conflict is likely a part of the problems mentioned in this thread. We identified the conflict and the X Theme team is working on a fix within their theme code β€” there is not a specific release date for this fix yet, but it should be arriving fairly soon (e.g. a few weeks from the date of my posting this message, if all goes according to plan).

    Please be sure to update your copy of X Theme whenever new update available, so that when this fix is finally released in the theme code, you get your hands on it as soon as it’s available.
