ParticipantWhen pulling the structured data of the post, the events is off by 7 hours.
I have updated the server time, wordpress timezone settings, and the event setting to reflect the correct time zone but it is not updating.
Here is one of the events:
https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/#url=http%3A%2F%2Fdepotslc.com%2Fevent%2Fyoung-dubliners%2FHere is the supposed correct time:

ModeratorHey Justin,
Do you have a Google Webmaster account? If so, have you submitted an updated sitemap? Once you do that, changes should reflect in your Google results 24-48 hours after doing so. Most SEO plugins have a section dedicated to sitemaps, so simply grab the sitemap URL and submit it to Google Webmaster and things should work themselves out.
To confirm I’m not missing anything, I did a quick check of our logged bug reports but am not finding anything relative to your situation. Please keep me updated and have a pleasant rest of your day. Cheers!

ParticipantHi Hunter,
I do have a webmaster account, have the sitemap submitted, and there are no crawl errors. I resubmitted it to google for good measure
http://depotslc.com/sitemap.xmlYou can see in the structured data tool report above I posted, that the website is outputting the wrong data. Does your plugin pull the data directly from the sitemap? that would be an odd function

ParticipantI just noticed that the event structured data appears to be getting pulled correctly, but the meta data for the events is wrong. Maybe this will help debug it
Notice how on the right, it has the correct date, but the meta description is wrong

ModeratorThat information should be manageable with the SEO plugin you’re using, though I’ve never used it myself so I’m unsure of it’s features/capabilities. I know with Yoast’s SEO plugin, you can manage essentially every aspect including the meta data you’re having troubles with.
I’d keep exploring the options in your SEO plugin. It might be worth researching their forums (if they have them available) and possibly contacting them for more information. Lastly, try searching our forums in addition to general web searches to see if you can find any answers and possible solutions.
Please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article for more information on what we’re able to cover in the forums. Thanks and best of luck! Cheers 🙂

ParticipantBefore submitting a ticket, I tested out disabling all plugins, including the SEO plugin, and reverting the theme. Google still pulls the wrong data from your plugin. This is not a theme customization, or plugin customization, I am not sure what referencing the guidelines will do to help me.
Please look at the data report from google for the event in question.
Then look at the date of the events on the page.
You can even look into the inspector on the page, and see the incorrect date is outputted.

ModeratorThanks for the response and details. They helped lead to me a fairly old bug with little to no activity, but before I’m comfortable guaranteeing the issues you’re experiencing are related to this report, I’m having some more seasoned team members look over things.
Hang tight while we investigate a little further and I’d be happy to update you once I’ve got more information. As always, we’ll aim for 24 hours but if it exceeds that amount of time, feel free to ping me here in the forums.
Thanks again and have a good evening!

ModeratorSo… I got confirmation the issue you’re experiencing is due to the bug I suspected in my previous response. I’m going to include this forum thread to the report which helps increase attention on the matter.
If I get an update on the ticket in a reasonable time, I’d be happy to update you here with more information. Should things take longer than expected, feel free to create a new thread and please refer to this thread to cut down on the time it takes to communicate the situation.
I unfortunately do not have any sort of timeline when this will get fixed, but we’ll update this thread with that information. It’s always best to keep an eye on our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for detailed information.
Thank you again for providing the details you have. As previously mentioned, they were extremely helpful in leading me to the report which relates to your particular issue. I’ll let you know if you we need any more information to help us get things going. Cheers!

ParticipantHello,
It has been over 24 hours, is there any decision on if this is a known bug
or not?March 16, 2017 at 11:49 am #1255401Justin
ParticipantActually I see the post. Keep me updated on the progress
March 16, 2017 at 11:58 am #1255430Justin
ParticipantIs there anyway to remove this rich snippet festure from the event
calendar? We have had multiple refunds due to this issue and are loosing a
lot of money due to people assuming the shows are at the wrong timeMarch 16, 2017 at 7:52 pm #1255648Hunter
ModeratorTry adding the following line to your theme’s functions.php file:
/*
* Disable JSON LD markup used by search engines
*/
add_filter( 'tribe_json_ld_markup', '__return_empty_string' );March 16, 2017 at 7:54 pm #1255652Hunter
ModeratorPlease note: I had responded which included incorrect information and has since been updated. Please make sure you apply the code change to your theme’s functions.php file, not your site’s wp-config.php file.
