wpml – TEC pro – Wootickets: tickets invisible on translated event page

I am trying to have my Wootickets visible on wpml translated event pages (TEC PRO). They are visible on the original ENG page.

-I’ve disabled all non-essential plugins
-The tickets are marked as visible (catalogue/search)
-I’m aware of the integration issue when adding tickets to the event page while WPML is activated. (btw – would be great if that could be fixed)
-I’ve searched in the forum, but couldn’t find a solution
-Strings, taxonomies, etc. are translated
– Woocommerce Multilingual 3.3.4. as well as all other plugins and themes are up to date.

Hi Tim – thanks for reaching out to us 🙂

Based on previous experience, I think the fundamental problem may be that for each translation of a page there is a different post entity, created by WPML, and so the IDs are different and the relationships between ticket and event are not established … at least, that’s my basic theory – it may be slightly different and more complicated in practice.

I’ll certainly make a note of your interest in this – we are listening and are tracking demand for better WPML integration – but I’m afraid at this time we cannot offer any substantive support for WPML integration issues.

We are excited to report that our upcoming release, The Events Calendar 3.12, includes changes that greatly improve the compatibility between The Events Calendar and WPML. We’ve been working hard on this integration for some time and we want to specifically thank all of our users who requested and waited for this feature. We appreciate all of the support and patience!

Version 3.12 of The Events Calendar will greatly improve compatibility with WPML, but we still have work to do. If you run into any problems integrating the two plugins, please post in our forums so that we can look into the issues. We’ll be on the look out for tweaks and fixes that will improve things further.
