    Hi,
I have an older TCE Pro install with WooCommerce Tickets on a customer website (amala-dance.com) . Now I need an events management solution for an other project with events management and WPML multilang support. Events creation is possible with wpml without translation, that means I can create an event for language English or for the language German for expl. and they will be visible on the events page for each selected language only – thta is quite as it should be.
Problems occur with the WooCommerce Tickets extension. After creating and saving a ticket for an event, the ticket disappears. It won’t be possible to edit any more neither with the concerning event nor in the woocommerce products view. In the database it is quite present and after deactivating the wpml cms plugin, the ticket appears again.
I need very urgend a solution for that. I don’t need translation for an event or an ticket because each event has it’s very own language either english or german but never both and so the tickets are created only in one language. But no question they have to appear on the site after the concerning language was selected.
I think their is not much to do to make that work. The WooCommerce Multilingual plugin enables products to select a language for it and so the product is visible with the selected language. That would be enough to me as i stated above. I don’t need translation ability for a ticket (product).
I’m willing to do the job. I guess that I could create a plugin for this like WooCommerce Multilingual does but I need some infos for that, what missing parameter causes the issue? I think you allready know and I would be very happy you can tell me!
Hoping to get an answer from you very soon,

    with regards – Tom

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues between our plugins and WPML.

For now our plugins do not work well together and we do not have any coding or support to provide to fix them.

Unfortunately, achieving WPML integration is not a simple problem to solve.

In this case it is not absolutely clear that changes are even required or would be best made in our own codebase – which already follows most or all WordPress best practices for internationalization.

It could be that WPML itself needs to change how it works to accommodate a wider range of plugins, like our own, or alternatively it may need to introduce new facilities our plugins can interact with before we can make changes on our end.

Given the number of unknowns we do not have any coding to provide to resolve the issues and although we are looking to make the plugins compatible I do not have a timeline when that might happen.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

Hi Brian, sorry but that sounds that you made till now not the smallest step with WPML integration. I thought I’ve read here, that there is a roadmap to start this in 2015. And how can you state that “achieving WPML integration is not a simple problem to solve” when you have no idea on what it depends to integrate it. I don’t need full integration, my issue is only concerning the visibility of the tickets created in TEC with WC Tickets. I don’t think that can be that a great thing to do.
I thought you might have some steps done that could help me go further on from that point. But OK – if not, I have to do it myself – or I must look for an other solution without TEC.

Sorry to disappoint, but with the delay in 3.10 we have not gotten to WPML compatibility and do not have any coding to provide and do not have a timeline when it might happen.

Sorry again to disappoint. I hope one day we can support WPML.

For now I am closing this thread as there is nothing more we can do here.
