GuestHi there, I understand the Events Calander is WPML compatible? But the extension are not (yet). E.g. the Ticket extension. Does that mean the extensions doe snot work or give problems with WPML? Could you advice the situation? I am considering your plugin as an option for the site. We will be offering chocolate tastings soon, that’s why. I am currently using EventOn but that is not satisfactorily.

MemberHey Dennis and thanks for reaching out!
That’s exactly correct: The Events Calendar is compatible with WPML as of Version 3.12 and we’re maintaining integration going with each release.
Events Calendar PRO is also compatible with WPML, with the exception of recurring events. There is a lot of trickiness in there to get the two plugins working together with that feature and something we are actively talking with the WPML team about.
The rest of our extensions are not yet compatible with WPML, though we are expanding the integration with each release. For example, we are currently working on an integration for both Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus and hope to release some of those updates in 4.3, if all goes according to plan. It’s definitely something we want to work on and know would be an awesome feature.
Does this help answer your question and give you an idea of what we’re currently working on? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers,

GuestHi Geoff,
Thanks fort he swift reply!
One thing: doe sthat mean that the Events Tickets extension does not function properly with WPML or are there just some translation issues?
Best, Dennis

MemberThat’s a good clarification. Event Tickets does not function with WPML at the moment — if anything does work, then that would be happy coincidence rather than an intentional integration like the ones we’re working on.
Cheers!

ParticipantWhat’s the timing on the 4.3 release?

MemberHey Annie,
We’re aiming for something at the end of the summer but don’t have a specific date locked down yet since releases can change depending on a number if things.
Cheers and have a great weekend!
