I may want to buy a license for your WP-ticket add-on. I am looking for a great ticket-sales solution on my WP-site as if it were Eventbrite, which is fantastic, but without paying the ridiculous fees and getting my revenues on my PayPal/bank account the same day instead of 2 weeks after the event.

On http://www.expatclubbrussels.com I sell tickets for the events I organize myself. This WP-site is based on the Templatic Nightlife theme that was specifically designed for selling tickets for events (http://templatic.com/cms-themes/nightlife-events-directory-wordpress-theme). I don’t want to change the looks of the theme as events are presented nicely. The events are linked to WooCommerce and the payment almost works perfectly with PayPal and SOFORT Banking.

The problem is now that the backoffice functionallity of WooCommerce is not really setup for the high-volume of tickets that I hope to start selling soon. After every order, I still have to manually administer what was bought, in which quantity and by whom. For instance, for the movie nights or pub quizzes I can’t simply print or export a list of attendees. And when the numbers are increasing to 100-200 per week, you can imagine that mistakes are easily made besides the fact that it costs a lot of time.

I noticed that Modern Tribe offers a WooCommerce ticket add-on that will solve several of my problems (https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-wootickets/?campaignid=1073&mbsy=cBrv), but that it is linked to the Events Calendar plugin. As said above, I don’t want to change the template of the site as it looks fine, and the way events are presented (with the various buttons) so my question is whether this add-on could somehow be made to work with the current website or that the current WooCommerce on my site could be used in some way or another to at least show lists of sales per product with the names of the people?

    Thanks for your answer.

    Hi Edgar,

The Templatic Nightlife theme does have a great looking calendar/event set up. However to use the Modern Tribe WooCommerce: Tickets plugin, you have to have The Events Calendar plugin installed. The WooCommerce: Tickets plugin in an add-on to that calendar and wouldn’t work with the calendar that is embedded in the Nightlife theme.

My best advice is if you want to stick with the Nightlife theme to keep checking around for WooCommerce add-ons that will do what you need. Or alternatively, you could replace the Nightlife calendars with The Events Calendar and use the WooCommerce: Tickets to help manage the sales load.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask!
