WP Theme Compatibility Question

Hi,

A client wants to update their theme using the “Campaign WP theme” (http://themeforest.net/item/campaign-your-political-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/13185059) but want to make sure it’s compatible with “The Events Calendar” before purchasing. They don’t have a pre-purchase question area, so I was hoping you guys could help. My guess is that it will be fine since it’s a matter of adding shortcode to a page but want to make sure I’m correct before reporting back.

Hi,

Thanks for the interest with our plugins.

We are not sure if the plugins will work with that theme.

There is a good chance it will, but we cannot say for sure.

We do not have shortcodes for the main views of Month, List, Map, etc those are generated as archives by the plugin so that can create conflicts.

You can test our the Events Calendar with the core version found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

If that works then Pro should work as Pro add ons and The Events Calendar.
