ParticipantI’ve been trying to get rid of the WP Router Placeholder Page title at the top of the community ADD page and have not had any success with removing it. I’ve tried the plugin and theme deactivation with the theme switch working, so I feel it is a conflict with the theme. I’m using this theme: http://www.ait-themes.com/wordpress-themes/fairytale-wordpress-theme/
Any help is much appreciated!

ParticipantThanks for reaching out, and sorry I’m just now seeing this thread. It must have slipped through the cracks! So sorry!
Take a look at this code snippet: http://snippi.com/s/30z7sep
You should be able to copy lines 8-48 into your theme’s page.php file to fix the problem.
Give that a shot and let me know if that fixes it. Thanks!

ParticipantThanks, Casey.
Unfortunately, that didn’t work. Here’s what I did: http://snippi.com/s/k0cg0un
And it is producing the same results: http://www.pghbeercalendar.com/events/community/add
Any other options?? Thanks!August 16, 2013 at 4:48 am #60667Casey
ParticipantCould you post the content of your theme’s page.php file into Pastebin and share it with me here so I can take a look? Thanks.

ParticipantThanks, Casey. Here is the Pastebin of the Page.php as it exists currently: http://pastebin.com/Zwq3fHh3

ParticipantIs that the full page.php? I’m only seeing the code that displays the Page title.

ParticipantThat’s the whole thing…

ParticipantThe reason I’m asking is because it looks incomplete. There’s no reference to the_content() or any other template tags that would normally be there.
Can you switch over to the default Twenty Twelve theme and see if this issue still persists?

ParticipantThe issue does not persist in Twenty Twelve. I know it looks incomplete (that’s what I thought too), but that’s all that’s there. I’m assuming it’s referencing code in another file somewhere…

ParticipantSince everything seems to work properly with the default theme, it sounds like this is an issue with your theme. Unfortunately, we can’t provide support for every theme out there, so my suggestion would be to contact the developer of your theme for support.
We’re definitely happy to work with the developer and answer any questions they may have to help them track down the issue.
Just let me know if you have further questions. Thanks!
