ParticipantMy WordPress comments are being filled with an error from the Event Aggregator (refer to screenshot). I’m aware there are other users experiencing this and that it occurs when the import limit of 100 is reached, but in my case I’m not even close to running half of that number each day and I’m still getting the comments. How do I shut them off or deactivate this error report? And why does it go to our comments?

KeymasterWe are experiencing a bug around the HTTP limit which we are hoping to resolve in an upcoming maintenance release. \
We chose to store these error messages as comments on the import post record because that seemed like a logical association. We expected the errors to be rare, but in practice customers are getting them with much greater frequency than we saw in testing. These comments do have a custom comment-type and we are planning to filter them out of the standard comment view in a future iteration.
In the meantime, have made some changes which should make the logging a bit better in 4.3.1, the history on these errors should get pruned from your database automatically after 7 days. We have filters available to make that time period shorter if you don’t need or want the history on your imports. If you are interested in that, I’d be happy to create a code snippet for you. I can also give you a query to manually purge these specific logs if that would be helpful.
We greatly appreciate your feedback and look forward to delivering continued improvements on this new product in the weeks to come. Let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance on this specific issue.

ParticipantHi Zach,
Ok so just to confirm, currently those “comments” will be deleted after 7days if I just leave them where they are?
Thank youOctober 24, 2016 at 7:06 am #1181852Zach Tirrell
KeymasterYes. As of 4.3.1.1, Event Aggregator comments about errors encountered will expire after 7 days and will be purged.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
