Would like to add day of week before date

Hello,

I’m looking at adding the day of the week before the date here: http://www.thepelham.com/events/

So basically where it says May 12, I would like it to say “Tuesday, May 12”

Hey Kristen,

Thanks for reaching out to us! My sister spells her name the same way. Don’t see that too often 🙂

To get the day to display there, you can go to the Event Settings > Display tab within your WordPress dashboard and modify the “Date without year” setting to be “l F j” https://cloudup.com/chZLv3l4yEo.

Was just looking for the same thing, and this worked.

It didn’t add the day in the Events calendar month view though – you know when you hover over an event, and the details appear? If it was possible to add it there too that would be great.

Hey Fi,

I’m glad this solution worked for you! For the month view of the calendar, that setting is controlled by the “Date with year” setting above the previous one. You can add the day there by making the same changes as was made in the previous example.
