WordPress slider for events page?

Hi, Im an amateur!
Trying to find a way to put a slider on the top of the events page, I imagine not a difficult request but the page does not appear to be edited easily in the “pages” section on the wordpress dashboard. Appreciate the assistance

Hi there,
Unfortunately this falls outside the realm of support since to do this, you’ll need to use our templating and theming system. To add a slider, you’ll need to override the template for the main calendar. There’s information about our templating system on our Themeing guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/

Unfortunately, we can’t help you add the slider though
