WordPress and theme recomendations needed before purchase

Hi i am interested in a theme simular to the theme shown here in the demo. http://wpshindig.com/events/

Does the plugin provide that functionality or do we have to buy a separate theme to provide homepage calendar like the one shown in the demo? http://wpshindig.com/events/

Hi Jason,

I’m glad you found our WPShindig site! As our demo site, it has our PRO add-on installed so some of the views are specific to that, but the calendar is part of our free The Events Calendar plugin that is used as the base. If you want to test out the calendar itself, you can download it here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/ And, I should mention that setting the calendar as the home page is not something it’s designed to do out of the box. If you notice, even http://wpshindig.com is redirected to http://wpshindig.com/events/. It doesn’t sit on the actual home page of the site.

As for the theme, that’s just a fancied up version of the default Twenty Twelve theme. We might be able to make arrangements if you are interested in it.
