Regarding plugins: The Events Calendar PRO and The Events Calendar

My theme developer gave me some information on WordPress 4.5 that is being released on 4/12. They stated “be advised the WP 4.5 is updating the jquery and jquery migrate libraries. This means many functions calls in code that worked previously will throw warnings. I mention this as most plugin developers are unaware of these udpates, so a lot of plugins are going to have issues when WP 4.5 comes out.”

Is your support team aware of these WP 4.5 changes coming soon? Are you planning for a plugin upgrade soon that will deal with any adverse jquery issues caused by WP 4.5?

That’s an excellent question, William!

We are absolutely on top of this and currently in the middle of testing our products with the latest versions of WordPress, as we get them. We have a quality assurance team that is working through a massive checklist of tests and logging issues that arise from that work and you can be sure that we will prioritize those issues in upcoming releases if and when we spot them.
