WooTickets and Multisite Functionality

Hello there,

My web developer is presently integrating WordPress with a template I’ve designed for a show organiser, using WooTickets to handle ticket sales.
The show organiser wants to have multiple sites for each of its 10 shows. The design specification was to create a “framework template” that could easily be duplicated and then re-branded for each of the shows.

We’ve just got WooTickets going on the test site and all’s working well. My thought had been that we would create a multi-site network so that each of the shows had a sub-site off the main network.

Would WooTickets support this? Would I be able to have my “Book Tickets” page displaying Child, Adult & Concessionary tickets with an individual booking page on each sub-site?

The other alternative would be to host a WordPress installation for each site. I haven’t accommodated for additional WooTickets license costs – I’m assuming even if these sites are hosted on the same IP I will need a license per domain or something?

Hi, classicfestivals. Thanks for getting in touch.

We haven’t finished implementing our multisite licensing. For now, please use the WooCommerce Tickets Developer license. That should give you the flexibility to do the 10 sites that you’re looking to support.

For having a central page with all the tickets listed, we don’t have anything for you to use out of the box. You could probably do that by creating a page through the WooCommerce interface with the tickets category (which is hidden by default). You might also look for a third-party plugin that has a solution implemented.
