Hello,
This is becoming a very costly and troublesome error.
Whenever the client tries to move attendees from one event to another (or even tries to change the ticket type), they get this error. I assumed they were doing something wrong, but I also encountered this error when trying to move events/ticket types to the same event. I am running Event Tickets, Event Tickets Pro, Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro. I tried creating a new WP install to test the issue, but am still getting it.
Thanks,
David
October 9, 2017 at 2:45 pm #1361286AndrasKeymasterHi David,
Thanks for reaching out and I’m really sorry about this issue.
I just tested this, and while I do get the same error message the ticket still gets moved. Is that also happening for you as well, or the tickets don’t get moved at all? Or disappear?
The error message is a bug, I will log that. It would be great to know the rest of it as well.
Thanks for letting me know.
Cheers,

Error message comes up, tickets do move to different event attendees list, however, no email confirmation is sent to the customer.
November 1, 2017 at 2:10 am #1372688AndrasKeymasterHello Christopher,
Thanks for chiming in and reporting your finding. I just added that note to the bugticket and escalated it.
While it will not be fixed in the coming maintenance release – which should come this week -, due to it’s high priority it will likely be fixed in the next one.
The workaround for this issue would be to roll back to the following versions:
- Event Tickets 4.5.5
- Event Tickets Plus 4.5.4
I apologize for this inconvenience and thanks for your patience!
Cheers,

Just wanted to let you know this issue is no longer present in our latest feature release of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus. We encourage you to update to the latest versions and try it out.
To find out more about the release -> https://theeventscalendar.com/release-event-tickets-4-6-event-tickets-plus-4-6-events-calendar-4-6-4-community-tickets-4-5/
We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site.
As always, don’t hesitate to open a new topic if anything comes up and we’ll be happy to help! 🙂
Best!
