GuestHello,
we are a boat cruising company from Budapest, Hungary. We are managing different events and cruises on the Danube. At this moment we are using Wooommerce with own development and we can now managing events and send automatically pdf tickets.
However we would like to move forward because our home-made development is not so easy to use and we want to introduce different types of tickets, etc.We found that your Events Calendar and Woocommerce Tickets would be a good solution for us but:
– our sales strategy requires to make an event which is running on different times, so is a recurring event. I read on your website that “recurring events are not supported with tickets” but you are working on solution. Do you have an idea about when is expected a release which allow recurring events? We are make our plans for this year and would be good to know that this release will coming in weeks, months or years? And this release will be available to set up events and tickets like this ?
eg.:
Event: Budapest boat bruise with mulled wine
Time: January 15, 2014 – 19:00, January 20, 2014 – 20:30, January 21, 2014 – 20:00, etc– can we setup any kind of payment gateways which is running into Woocommerce? We have special gateways which are needed locally (PayU) and another used for external coupons (here the buyer is typing his coupons and we checking these on the coupon website and allow the tickets manually). We also use a local online invoicing system with API (generating invoice with API when find that order status is completed) which is also an important requirement: in Hungary we can use only invoicing systems allowed by authority. We’ll be available to use these plugins with your Events&Tickets software?
Best regards,
Felix

ParticipantHey Felix,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
You’re correct, the WooCommerce Tickets plugin doesn’t currently work with the Recurring Events feature available within The Events Calendar Pro. However, we are in active development of this feature and tentatively have it scheduled for the next release. So, barring any technical difficulties in implementation, the feature should be available within the next couple of months.
As far as other technologies and gateways, our plugin works within WooCommerce. The tickets are essentially WooCommerce Products and the transactions will subsequently be handled completely by WooCommerce. So, if you have an existing plugin or system that works with WooCommerce, it should work perfectly fine when using our plugin.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions when considering the transition to our plugin.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Felix,
No problem.
We are too! It’s been on our radar for a little while and we’re excited to see it come alive. I’ll go ahead and close this ticket. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!
