GuestI’m trying to determine if WooCommerce Tickets is appropriate for my project. I have a small cruise boat that runs two tours a day. I need a ticketing/reservation system that will:
1) allow me to set a max number of seats and reduce inventor as reservations are made
2) will allow for two different ticket prices: adult and child.
Can Tickets accomplish this?
Is there a demo of WooCommerce Tickets?
Thank you!October 1, 2013 at 5:10 pm #68689Kelly
ParticipantHi, Susan. Thanks for getting in touch about the functionality available in WooCommerce Tickets. It does indeed sounds like WooCommerce Tickets would be a good solution based on your description.
You can see the add-on in action on our demo site:

For a taste of what it will be like to manage inventory, I recommend you download the (free) WooCommerce plugin and give it a test drive. You’ll find the inventory management under the WooCommerce Products section in the Dashboard.
Are there any other questions I can answer to help you evaluate the add-on?

GuestI’ve looked at the demo site. Does the demo have a back-end where I can see how the plugin works from the setup side?

ParticipantHello Susan,
There isn’t a way to get to the backend of the demo site, but you can take a look at some screenshots here: https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-wootickets/. But Kelly gave some good advice about looking at the WooCommerce plugin if you want to look under the hood (http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/). The tickets are added to events as the events are setup, but once entered, they are managed as a “product” so any functionality that products have would be available with the tickets.
Is there anything else we can help you with?
