    Hi,

I would like to sell workshops tickets through my website. And I have a few questions.

There are 3 kind of workshops: basic, intermediate and expert. Any workshop can be repeated many times on a year without a pattern.

I would like to have a single page for all the basic workshop dates with tickets (or add to cart buttons) for every date. Another one for the intermediate and so… Is it possible to do that with woocommerce tickets?

I don’t mind to create multiple events and tickets for every date, but I want to display them in a single page.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in WooCommerce Tickets.

Tickets are created in each event and that is the only way to create them as they are always tied to an event.

By default those tickets are hidden on the shop page, but you can edit the Ticket Product and set the visibility to Shop in the Catalog and then that ticket will show on the shop page.

You could do that will all the tickets you create to show there, unfortunately, that can only be done manually per ticket.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hello,

does displaying the event-tickets as products with shortcode [product skus=’xxxx’] require to have installed ‘Catalog Visibility Options’ plugin ?

because in my woo-commerce or product settings I don’t have any Visibility options to change, and using shortcodw with event-ticket products simply doesn’t display them, in contrast with all the rest products.

    could you please advise?

    thanks

    Pav

We do not support the Product Shortcode so it may work with tickets, but it is not a feature of our plugin.

You may have to try that Catalog Visibility Options Plugin to get it to work.

Beyond that we are limited in supporting it.

    Thanks

Hi Brian, thanks for your answer. I used the catalog visibility plugins and it works !

I have another question regarding tickets:

do event-tickets of a past event expire? and disappear ? or would users still be able to buy them from:

    1. Event site
    2. website Shop, directly from linked products skus.

    thanks

    Great glad it is working.

Once an event has passed the tickets are no longer available on an event.

They may still be available on the shop page or through a shortcode as that is bypassing our coding to check if the event has passed.

    Does that help?

    Thanks
