    Hi,

I\’m looking for a plugin for one of my clients, they sale dance classes, we use woocommerce on the site.

What we need is a report and a list with the details of the customers who purchased each class,
eg: for product \”class 1\” be able to see details of who purchase that product and download a list.

I think you cover this on your \”wooCommerce Tickets\”, would be that plugin good enough for what I\’m looking for? is it possible to just use the part of the plugin where you get the list of the people who purchased products?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello Jorge,

Our WooCommerce: Tickets plugin utilizes all the powers of WooCommerce to produce reports and other sales information. What our plugin would allow you to do is add the dance classes to a calendar and then purchase “tickets” to that class to be checked out through the WooCommerce system.

The WooCommerce: Tickets plugin requires both The Events Calendar PRO and the WooCommerce plugins to function. There’s no way to use just part of it. But a list of people who purchased the tickets to a particular event (class) is certainly available in the form of our built-in Attendee Lists for each event.

I hope that answered your questions. If not, just let us know!

    Thanks for your reply Julie,

Weare using another plugin in the site called dynamic pricing which allows us to put discount in woocommerce categories, offer discounts when a customers buy more than one product(class), will be this a conflict between plugins?

    Hi again Jorge,

Since WooCommerce: Tickets simply adds ticketing capabilities to calendar events, I don’t believe there should be a conflict with your other plugin. However, we haven’t done any testing of that plugin, so I can’t guarantee anything.

WooCommerce: Tickets treats tickets to events as any other product that WooCommerce handles. Since the other plugin appears to interact with the checkout process, which is handled by WooCommerce, it seems unlikely that they would conflict. Plus, there haven’t been many conflicts with the WooCommerce add-on reported, so I would give it a try.

I hope that helps. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

    Thanks Julie,

The other plugin take the discounts under the product categories and also trough an option under each product in woocommerce.

Can the tickets be add to a woocommerce product category?

Thanks so much for your help.

    Hey there Jorge,

The way that WooCommerce Tickets creates tickets is that each type of ticket, say an adult ticket for next Wednesday’s event, is it’s own “product” as far as WooCommerce is concerned. And yes, “tickets” is the product category. You could change the product category to something else, if that’s what you’re looking to do, but we can’t guarantee that it will work with that plugin.

However, from what I understand, it looks like this will do what you’re looking for. One thing to note is that WooCommerce Tickets currently doesn’t work with recurring events, so you’d have to list your classes as a one-time event, maybe “class registration” or something like that.

    Does that help?

    Hi Julie,

Thanks for your help, we appreciate that!
Is bit confusing(sorry for ask too many questions) the discounts works in each category of the products, so guess for the tickets to work, they have to be set up as a different categories each ticket.

Is that possible? Eg; Ticket 1 in category “style1”, ticket 2 in category “style 2”?

Thanks for your help, 5 stars service!

    Hi Jorge,

I’m happy to answer your questions. When creating an event, you’ll have the ability to set the event categories as you enter the information. However, all events created have the WooCommerce product category of “ticket” automatically. You’d be able to set up as many ticket (a.k.a. product) categories as you need, but you might have to manually switch them after they’ve been created. Depending on how many events and categories you are creating this could range from no big deal to a lot of work.

    Does that help?
