Hi Neil,
Well, I’m biased, but I think the plugin looks ideal too. 🙂
But lets make sure it’s ideal for you. So…
1) Exactly. WooCommerce Tickets are WooCommerce products linked to events in the calendar. Manage them like any other WooCommerce product.
2) I don’t believe there is a way to add attendees from the admin side. I suppose if it were a free ticket, there’s nothing to stop you from doing it on the front end. Except you said payment link, so I’m guessing it’s not a free ticket. That is something I don’t think it could do. The tickets require payment when the order is placed. This part of the transaction is handled by WooCommerce though, so you might want to check with them on the specifics. There is an email that goes out with the order though.
3) You’re timing on this one is brilliant. Just today we wrote a blog post about a solution that just might fit your needs. It’s not built into the plugin, but works with it. https://theeventscalendar.com/follow-up-emails-plugin-integrates-with-woocommerce-tickets/
I hope I’ve answered your questions. Let me know if you have some more!
