ParticipantHi Iam trying to get Woo Commerce Followup Email to work with the event calendar on my website. Everything seems to work except the triggering of emails. Basically I would like to set up a reminder email to be sent out to people who purchase tickets prior to the event starting. The emails seem to go into Follow-email schedule and just sit there. I have tried looking through your forums for people with similar issues but the answers have been made private? Also I have tried contacting WOO COMMERCE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO HELP WHAT SO EVER. Please let me know what other information you need from me.
Thanks
Johnny

MemberGood evening Johnny and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the struggles you have experienced trying to integrate with Woo Commerce Followup Email.
We have released an update to Event Tickets Plus today that should fix the WooCommerce 3 issues some of our customers have unfortunately experienced.
If you have not already, I would highly recommend upgrading, after a database backup, of course.
Perhaps this will help.Other than that, we are currently, reviewing all of our email notifications code to make it even better than it already is.
In the meantime, we have found that when that type of issue arises, you can have the system send tickets from any chosen email address by simply installing, configuring and testing the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
Using a real SMTP server with authentication will bypass the built-in WP mail functionality altogether, which typically fixes everything.
Please make sure you configure and test the settings using the plugin’s built-in tool.
Additionally, you might want to experiment with different settings for When should tickets be emailed to customers? under Events -> Settings -> Tickets
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
