After installing Woo Commerce, events and tickets, I get fatal errors when I click on any WordPress sidebar link. Even after re-installing Worpress multiple times, deactivated all plugins, then reactivating the event pro plugins, I still get a fatal error message repeating itself such as:
Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /home/safetymanagement/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 204

Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /home/safetymanagement/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 205
This is a major issue for me for simply trying to install and getting the events and tickets working.
I am lost. Any way of testing if I have a good WordPress install?

    Howdy capstone,

Would you mind grabbing your system information and pasting it here? Make sure to use the ‘Set as private reply’ checkbox to protect your private information from the public. You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings, clicking on the “Help” tab, and scrolling down to the ‘System Information’ box. (Or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-events-calendar&tab=help) That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

Also, did you try it with a default theme? It could be part of your theme’s code that’s not working with one of those plugins. Hence an error would occur. Please let me know! Thanks.
