I deactivated and reactivated WPML. I see there are about 40 rows at the end of the icl_translations table with “post_tribe_events” in the element_type column, so I am assuming these are the ones you were expecting to be generated.
Yes, this is where the elements should be created.
However, if you pay careful attention, you should notice that there are 2 columns in there: language code and source language code.
If you want to get a sense of how that should work, you could simply create a dummy regular post in your WPML default language (which I assume is french) and then proceed to create a translation for it. When that’s done, take a look at each of these entries in the icl_translations to see how they are setup for the language code and source language code fields.
Finally, if you haven’t done so already, you need to make sure your WPML setup matches and translation procedure matches the following:
As a side note, please also know that only the ?lang= URL method is truly supported at this point.
