Will the Community Tickets addon replace the Tickets addon?

Hi,

From what I’ve seen, the Community Tickets addon will let users sell their own tickets through TECt, whereas the Tickets addon allows only the site Admin to sell tickets. That sounds as though the Community Tickets functionality is a superset of that of the Tickets addon. I’m wondering if the two addons will co-exist, or if the the new one will replace the old one.

Thanks for your interest in the Community Tickets Plugin.

The plugin is going to be an Add On for our new ticketing plugin we are building that combines the features of all 4 plugins we currently have into one plugin. So it will be two different plugins.

Thanks for the reply. So, if I understand it correctly, 4 existing plugins will be combined it 1 new plugin. And the Community Tickets plugin will be an add-on for the new combined plugin. Is that it? Which are the 4 plugins that will be combined?

Ah, I think understand. EDD, Shopp, WPEC and WooCommerce will be combined. They will allow Admin users to sell tickets. To allow Community Users to sell tickets, you’ll need the Community Tickets add-on. If that’s it, please feel free to close this thread.
