Will I be able to import events from this site?

I’m working on moving a clients website from Metro Publisher and onto WordPress. They have an event listings page that I would like to move onto The Events Calendar. I’m only able to export the events in XML or HTML format.

Will I be able to use the Event Aggregator?

Unfortunately no. My only options are XML and Machine Parsable HTML for some reason. There is an RSS feed that I tried converting to CSV and importing but it never got past the loading phase of creating a preview. Any other suggestions?

You might be able to use an RSS to CSV converter to convert all of the data to a CSV file, then try importing that via our calendar’s CSV importer. You would at least get much of the data pulled in automatically. You might still need to manually add an event end date and such, but that’s better than having to add everything manually

You can see the proper formatting for CSV imports at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/. After moving your data around to adjust, give it a test import.  You can test all of this out with our free “Core plugin”: The Events Calendar. So you might give that a whirl and see if it does what you need.
