GuestWe already use the Events Calendar and I’m looking for a solution for our event registration – we want to allow for online sales, and for in-person cash sales to a not-so-tech-savvy staff member at a computer. We anticipate hitting event capacity quickly, so these two sales streams need to share stock.
I’m wondering if Event Tickets Plus will allow any of these options without WooCommerce:
– having a $0 ticket (listed in with tickets, not as RSVP) that shares stock with other tickets
– coupon code that skips payment gateway
– secret RSVP option that can only be see to someone logged into websiteThank you

Thanks for reaching out. I will try to help with your questions.
1) It is indeed possible to have a “free” ticket that is not an RSVP and shares stock with other tickets.
2) Our plugins do not have any support for coupon codes. You would need to handle this through WooCommerce.
3) There is a setting that determines whether someone needs to be logged in or not in order to RSVP to an event. Out of the box, it’s not necessarily “secret.” It will show on the event page with a message “Log in to RSVP”. It would be possible to completely hide this unless the user was logged in, but it would take some customization of the PHP templates for the events.Hope that helps! We’ve installed Event Tickets Plus and when I try to set up a Free ticket, it’s still giving me the error “Ticket Price must be greater than zero.” How do I set up a Free ticket that appears with the others?

To create a free ticket, just leave the cost field blank when saving.
