Will buy Events Calendar Pro if it will work with Magazine Pro by Studio Press

The monthly calendar is not working in my Events Calendar. I’m using Magazine Pro by Studio Press. It works fine when I switch to twenty-sixteen.
I’ll purchase the Pro Version (for recurring events) but I need to know it will work with Magazine Pro first.
