Is there a way to skip a certain number of events in the widget view.

example: In one widget on the home page, there is a featured widget with the next event coming up. In another widget there is a list of events after the first event.

Hi – that’s an interesting idea!

Right at this time, no, not without doing some custom dev work – but I can definitely see why that would make sense in some situations and if you want to post a feature request we’ll certainly consider it 🙂

    Thanks!

Any chance you have an idea where I could start reading about how to custom develop? I don’t mind doing the extra work, just need some quick guidance. Thanks.

Definitely. On our end all of the following are worth reviewing:

The WordPress codex itself is also going to be a valuable resource, particularly these entries relating to working with queries and working with hooks, if you’re new to WP dev in general.

We can’t offer much more on this one and so I’ll go ahead and close the thread (though of course if you have questions on anything else or even more specific questions about aspects of this task do feel free to post a new thread and we’ll help or try to point you in the right direction if we can).

    Good luck 🙂
