ParticipantI don’t know how long this has been this way but I clicked on Widgets in the admin area of my website today and only some of the widgets are displaying. It shows the first few down to Events Countdown and then it just stops. Screenshot here http://loveyourlocalmarket.org.uk/widget_screen_shot.jpg I’ve reinstalled events calendar pro and disabled everything including switching themes but nothing is working. As soon as events calendar pro is reactivated the problem reoccurs.

I’m sorry you’re hitting difficulties here.
The Countdown Widget unfortunately can fail (in the context of the widget admin screen) in some hosting environments if you have a large number of events. It would be great if you could confirm approximately how many events you have as that will help guide us as we make future improvements.
Though this will disable that widget entirely, perhaps if you aren’t using it (or can live without it for a while) you could try adding this short snippet to your theme’s functions.php file:
remove_action( 'widgets_init', 'tribe_countdown_register_widget' );That might provide some temporary relief here.

I’ll go ahead and close this issue but we are planning on doing something to tackle this and we’ll aim to re-open and post an update as soon as we’ve got something more to report 🙂
