    When I select a categoy within the event widget filter then update the page – the settings are not saved and it reverts back to showing all events.

    I am editing this widget within the site origin page builder if that makes any difference

    Can you edit this widget within the WordPress administration’s default Widgets page?

    Ok tried it just as a general widget and it works totally fine. So it looks like its an issue with Site Origin Page Builder.

    Thanks for testing that, what you should do is to connect with the Site Origin Developers and see what can be done there.
