Why the extra space between these two views?

I have these two views of TEC Pro:

and then the single event view when you click on any event from that page:

http://covalime3.com/thirdstreetsouth.com/event/naples-historical-society/

My question: I have a bunch of extra space on the main calendar view (first link) but none of that extra space on the single event page. What is causing that discrepancy?
