ParticipantI am getting this message, whenever I try to update my license:
“The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 4.3.4. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. “
It also says my license for The Events Calendar Pro is expired but as per your own site it will expire only on Feb 25 2017. Please revertJanuary 18, 2017 at 6:36 pm #1220703Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Vera and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the confusing error message you are receiving
I would love to help you with this topic. Can you confirm if this is for http://brasileirinho.com/ ?
The reason I am asking is because according to your system information you are fully up to date,
Other than that, you are correct, your Pro license does not expire until 2017-02-25.
Hang in there as we solve this mystery together.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantSorry I missed your response. Yes, this is for http://brasileirinho.com.
I am also getting a message:
“It looks like you are using our legacy plugin, Facebook Events, along with our new Event Aggregator service. Event Aggregator includes all the features of the legacy plugin plus enhanced functionality. For best results, please deactivate Facebook Events.”However, I don’t have a plugin named Event Aggregator in my Plugins list. I thought this new feature would have been simply an update to Facebook Events. What do I have to do?

MemberGood evening Veruska,
Thank you for writing back and providing additional details.
Actually what this message is saying is that we are phasing out Facebook Events and replacing it with Event Aggregator.
This works because Event Aggregator offers all the features you know and so many new ones.
You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-aggregator/This means that there is no need to have both Facebook Events AND Event Aggregator installed at the same time.
Best of all, Event Aggregator does not require a plugin. It is built-in our the Events Calendar calendar and only requires a valid license key to work.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantThank you, Geoff B. So, at this point this is what I have installed on my site:
The Events Calendar V 4.4.0.1
The Events Calendar Pro V 4.4
The Events Calendar: Facebook Events V 4.2Does it cover all I need to have all the benefits of the changes, including the Aggregator?

MemberGood evening Veruska,
Perfect! You have all the latest versions of everything as far as I can see.
My recommendation would be to choose between Event Aggregator and Facebook Events.
As stated before, with Aggregator active, you can simply deactivate Facebook Events if you want to (since aggregator can take over and will keep on receiving updates). Is there anything else I can help you with ?
Have a great day!

ParticipantGood morning, Geoff.
I tried to do that, but your site doesn’t provide a download link to that effect.
I see the message below on my dashboard, but I am not sure if all I need to do is to deactivate Facebook Events or if I need to upload Event Agreggator before that.
“It looks like you are using our legacy plugin, Facebook Events, along with our new Event Aggregator service. Event Aggregator includes all the features of the legacy plugin plus enhanced functionality. For best results, please deactivate Facebook Events.”

MemberGood afternoon Veruska,
Yes, you simply need to make sure of the 2 following things:
- Enter your license key for Event Aggregator under Events -> Settings -> Licenses (there is nothing to upload)
- Deactivate the Facebook events plugin.
Better yet, there is a step-by-step guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-aggregator/#transition
Let me know how that goes.
