Why don't you use shortcodes

Hi,

I am curious, why don’t you use shortcodes instead of making templates etc.
I just want to have the events calendar pro inside my pages in DIVI theme but I have to customize all the pages with headers etc.
WHy is there no possibility to just use shortcodes like [events_calendar_pro view=”list”] or something.

Or do I miss something?

That would be so much easier to use!

Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

I am not sure why they did not start with shotcodes over 5 years ago, but instead they created the template system in the archive and it works well for what it is.

We are working to add shortcodes to the plugin and already added shortcodes for the Pro widgets.

As for the event view shortcodes it is on a road map to start adding those in the next couple of releases if everything goes to plan.
