Wholesale (agent) Ticket Price

Hi there,
I have 2 questions before getting the ticket plugin
1. Does the plugin comes with wholesaler or agent pricing feature.
2. What’s the format of the ticket that gets email to client, is it PDF/image or just HTML.

It’s nice to meet you. I would love to answer your questions.

1. I am not quite sure what you mean by this. Could you elaborate please? There are so many ways to refer to a feature and so many regional sayings that perhaps we do have such a feature we just call it something else. It might help to also clarify what plugin(s) you are looking at. The regular tickets plugins, or Community Tickets?
2. EDD Tickets does downloadable pdf tickets. The rest all use HTML for the tickets. So really you can choose what works best for you. HTML is compatible everywhere on any phone, tablet, or computer without needing extra software. And while it can be downloaded its not very common to do so. PDF on the other hand is more commonly downloaded, it just doesn’t work in as many places.

Does that all make sense?

Many thanks for your respond, yeah I’m looking for Woocommerce Ticket plugin I guess I’m using WP and Woocommerce.

Re wholeseller price I’m just looking for feature that allows the plugin to sell ticket to some agents(users) with special discounted price is that possible within the plugin or I have to rely on a 3rd plugin.

That portion of things would be handled by a third party plugin. However, depending on what you need that functionality might be built-in to WooCommerce for all product types (including tickets). For example, if you simply wanted to issue a coupon code to your agents/wholesalers, when they checkout with tickets in their cart they can input the coupon code and get the discount. Or if you want specific users to get a discount without codes, you would need to rely on WooCommerce plugin that offers such functionality.

Hi Brook,

Yeah I think a 3rd party wholeseller for Woocommerce might work for me. There are different plugins you have here and if I’m using WP and Woocommerce obviously I’ll need the Woocommerce Ticket plugin but is that all I need? or there are other addons that I must have, I’m using it to sell online ticket(entrance) for animal park like this http://www.marukoalapark.com.au/book-now

It sounds like the only plugin of ours you need to purchase is Event Tickets Plus (the new version of WooCommerce Tickets which we just renamed). From there you can download the free plugins The Events Calendar and WooCommerce.
