GuestHi Guys how was the DR?
Thanks to you I have a nice new events calendar and all is fine an rosy in firefox and chrome, but it is a different story in IE11. Ok so I think I have a Theme conflict so I revert to Twenty Thirteen and same issues appear. Theme templates don’t appear and a load of un-styled content and code appears, nothing consistent its different every time, but it never looks pretty.
So following advice found on here I open the f12 developer tools and the console. So here is the punchline when I use the console everything is fine when I don’t it’s a whole heap of crap again.
go to http://www.fourandtwenty.org follow the link to events (firefox and chrome all fine) in IE11 a jumbled mess. Open the console and try again and all is as you would expect, close console and try again, all tits up again.
I am new to this WP, web-developing malarkey, so any help gratefully appreciated.
Kind regards
Jon B

GuestA quick update:
So before I go to bed I get a “‘jQuery’ is undefined” in IE11 debugger. As I do not have the first clue as to how to solve this I go to bed to sleep on it.
When I wake up this morning everything is magically behaving itself and everything is appearing as it should in IE11.Do you have any idea as to what is going on?
I will let you know if it all jumbles up again.Kind regards

MemberHowdy Jon B! The DR was very nice, thanks for asking. 🙂
Well, anytime a customer runs into a pile of manure is never a good thing. I’m sorry that issue was cropping up but I’m certainly glad that things appear to be back to a rosy state.
I’d honestly just be tossing a handful of darts if I had to guess what the issue was, but my first hunch is that it was due to caching–whether it was on the browser or server side.
I’ll go ahead and close this one out since it all seems to be good now, but please feel free to hit us back up if anything else fishy creeps its way back in and we’d be happy to take a look.
Cheers!
GeoffP.S. I’m moving this thread from Pre-Sales to PRO. Same URL, only easier to find in the forums. 🙂
