GuestOur site is set up and we are using the Free Events Calender & Event Tickets plugins on our site. I have looked at the product description pages for the upgraded versions and need some questions answered regarding functionality we need before we’ll go ahead with some upgrades as follows:
1. Primarily, we’d like to have each attendee and the event organiser be emailed when someone confirms for an event. Does the upgraded version of Event Tickets offer this functionality?
2. We’d like to be able to manage the lists of people who have registered for events and then either attended or not attended and be able to follow up these people and promote future events, etc. Ideally we’d like to add them to various email lists. I realise that your products don’t include an email marketing tool, however i’m wondering about the database functionality of the plugins you offer so that we can then add a 3rd party email marketing plugin later.
Which plugins do you suggest? At this stage we are looking at Events Calendar Pro, Events Tickets Plus and the Facebook Events plugins…

MemberHey Gareth, thanks for getting in touch — I had you had a great weekend. 🙂
Great question. It sounds like the only upgrade you really need is Event Tickets Plus. That will get you both the email confirmations and the attendee list management you are looking for.
It’s worth noting that Event Tickets Plus also allows you to sell tickets at a cost. If you plan on doing that at all, then you will certainly want to grab an ecommerce plugin, like WooCommerce, for accepting payments.
Are there any other features you are specifically looking for? It sounds like you are also looking into Events Calendar PRO and Facebook Events, so feel free to let me know if you have any questions about either of those and I’d be happy to answer them. 🙂
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
