Which combination of Events Calendar (Pro) & Event Tickets (Plus) for seminars?

I have installed Events Calendar and Event Tickets (both in the free version) on the dev site for a client who is a nutritionist and health practicioner and who wants to give seminars to her clients.

For said seminars she needs a calendar and a possibility to RSVP for such an event. Those events aren’t free of course. I understand that the free version of Event Tickets only supports free events without charge, and that I need the Event Tickets Plus version if the tickets should be sold through the website.

Therefore, I am wondering which combination of Calendar and Tickets I need. Does Event Tickets Plus work with the Events Calendar core? Or do I need the Pro and Plus versions of both, i.e. license costs of US$ 89 x 2 per year?

I need to advise my client accordingly, so she can make a purchase decision.

Hi Sascha,

Thanks for the email! If you just need to add charges for tickets, Events Ticket Plus will work with the free Events Calendar. If you are going to add event tickets to recurring events then you will need the Events Calendar Pro as well to add that feature. You can read more on what the Pro version offers here:

Yes, that answers my question. The aim is to unregularly create events, for which clients would be charged a certain fee, so the combination as you suggested will be the one.
