    The moment I upgraded to the latest version the calendar 404d. I had just purchased pro, was working fine… clicked update, gone. πŸ™

    Im new to the plugin, looking around for similar experiences/fixes

    Hi lifesong,

    That’s unfortunate.

    In the first instance could I ask you to visit the plugins admin page and just confirm that both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are indeed at the correct version (both should be at 3.1) and are both still active?

    Following that (if that doesn’t solve anything) can you visit the Settings β†’ Permalinks admin screen: you don’t need to change anything or save anything – just visiting this page should cause the rewrite rules (which dictate the relationship between URLs and, in a sense, specific actions and views) to be cleared out and recreated.

    If that still doesn’t help can you post back with system info details which you can obtain from the bottom of the Events β†’ Settings β†’ Help admin screen?

    Thanks – I’m sure we can fix things for you here!

    OK – and just to double check, deactivating all other plugins except for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO – and at the same time switching to a default, unmodified theme – didn’t resolve this?

    Looks like there are some other issues at play here – when I visit your site using the URL you provided/the URL in the sys info I see a fatal error indicating you’re trying to include what looks on the face of it to be a non-WP file from within the main index.php file.

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/…/public_html/includes/defines.php’ (include_path=’.:/…/lib/php’) in /…/public_html/index.php on line 21

    Can you confirm that is the correct URL or advise me where I can find your installation so I can see if any other clues present themselves?

    Thanks – I was missing the first URL segment after the domain name itself, hence the confusion πŸ™‚

    If you login and visit Events β†’ Settings β†’ Display you will see that you have set Photo view as the default view, however you have not actually enabled Photo view: you only have month and list view enabled. Can you either enable Photo view also, or else change the default view to month or list and let me know if that helps? Thanks!
