Hey Leonard: thanks for the follow-up here, and sorry to hear you’re having issues. Is the license key you’ve added valid, and you’re still not seeing an update prompt?
You should be able to upload the plugin in place of what you’ve already got, yes. You may want to back up first just to be safe…but that approach generally works fine. What I normally do is give the new files a slightly different folder name, then upload them alongside the earlier build (so I’ll have 2.0.5 ACTIVE and 2.0.7 deactivated in the plugins list). Deactivate 2.0.5, activate 2.0.7 – so you have 2.0.7 for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO – and you should be set from there.
