ParticipantI cannot find where the short code is in your plug in to be able to load it onto a page. Can you please tell me where it is.

MemberHello Donovan
We do offer Calendar View Shortcodes and Widget Shortcodes.
Is that what you are looking for?
Thanks

ParticipantYes it is, but it doesn’t work right. I plug it in, everything looks fine, the map is where it is supposed to be and the next time I open the page the map is above my instructions on how to use it and it is the wrong size. This is very frustrating, this is the most expensive plug in I have purchased and has the least functionality to it. I can’t find anything on how to set a starting point on the map view. Every time I open the page the map view is on the other side of the world. I tried setting the default venue to Kansas thinking that would set it but it doesn’t. This is the only plug in that had a map view that you could set as the starting view and that is what I need, if you know of any others that can do this I would appreciate that information. This just doesn’t work very well. On the googlemap plug in that I have I can set all the setting I want including the starting point on the map and the zoom level and each map I save I get a short code specific to those settings, and that plug in cost half as much as this one. When I plug the short code in for that plug in it actually works.

MemberHello Donovan
I do understand your concerns on price & functionality. I hope we are able to provide the value you need.
Can you tell me where you placed your shortcodes and what is not working with them? I’d like to be able to see what is going on with your site. Can you send me a link to the exact pages where I can see your shortcodes displayed?
The map view should be populated with the venues of your events. Is that what you are seeing?
Looking forward to narrowing down what is happening.
Thanks

ParticipantI can’t send you a screen shot because the file is too big. But when I start the page that I want it on I put some instructions at the top of the page as to what it is there for and how to use it. Then I put the short code for the map underneath that in the divi short code module. The map appears with the list of events underneath it and everything looks fine, I save it then leave the page and when I come back the map is at the top of the screen with my instructions underneath that and then the list of events underneath that. Also the map will be resized to a different size. I tried using just the page that comes with the plug in using the widget link, but then I can’t put any instructions on the page or background. SO I’m kind of stuck because I really like what the map does. I just can’t get it how I want it. I pretty much just have to have the widget link page with no instructions. Here is a link to the page it’s on http://evangelistmeetingplace.com/training-events/?et_fb=1

MemberHello Donovan
I’d like to confirm that you do have upcoming events listed where you are expecting to see results on the page you sent?
Thanks

ParticipantNo, I haven’t got that far yet. I have two concerns 1) the map moves itself above my instructions instead of staying where it is supposed to stay and it resizes itself, which makes me think there is something wrong with the way the short code interacts with divi. 2) that I cannot choose a starting point and zoom level for it, (maybe I’m just missing something)

MemberHello Donovan
You can set the map zoom level at Events ยป Settings ยป General ยป Map Settings.
The starting point will be determined based upon the upcoming events you have created.
Can you add some events so that I can see it resizing, etc.? Some resizing is likely part of the theme and plugin both working to be mobile responsive, but I won’t know until I can actually see a map.
Thanks
