Where do I find Event Countdown ID or Slug?

This article states that countdown shortcodes can be placed on pages directly but require an ID or slug.

Where I do find a slug of id for a countdown? nothing I try is working

Thanks so much for reaching out!

You can find the event slug by going to Edit Events and clicking on Quick Edit.  Below the title, you will see the slug.

Wait, so the countdown timer short codes are only for specific events?
The widget countdown timer shows the time for the next event, regardless
of id or slug.

Am I understanding that correctly? The issue is that I can only display
a general countdown timer through a sidebar, because only a sidebar will
hold the countdown widget, but the sidebar doesn’t show well on mobile
at all.

Hi Reuel,

Yes, each countdown timer shortcode is for an individual event.  You can add multiple countdowns if you’d like as well.
